# Agreements and contracts

> Review service agreements, current and past balances, and the PDFs your MSP shares.

Open **Agreements** or **Contracts** in the sidebar to see your service agreements, their balances, and the PDFs your MSP uploaded. This page is for company users and MSP staff.

## Before you start

* Your MSP must turn this area on and give you the **read agreements** permission. If it is not in your sidebar, ask your MSP.
* The name depends on your MSP's PSA. ConnectWise uses **Agreements**. Halo and Autotask use **Contracts**. If ConnectWise is connected too, the portal says Agreements.
* Terms and balances come from the PSA. The **Documents** tab holds PDFs uploaded in MSPortal.

## Open the list

**1. Click Agreements or Contracts in the sidebar**

The list shows the agreements for your company selection.

**2. Click a row**

A panel opens with **Summary**, **Balances**, and **Documents** tabs.

These screens do not create or edit the PSA agreement, renew it, record a signature, or take a payment.

## Troubleshooting

| Problem | What to do |
| - | - |
| No **Agreements** or **Contracts** in the sidebar | Ask your MSP to turn it on and check your role. |
| The list is empty | Check the company selector and filters. Then ask your MSP to check company mapping and the PSA sync. |
| **Some details could not be loaded** | The panel shows only the list summary. Close and reopen it later, or ask your MSP. |

## Frequently asked questions

> **Are Agreements and Contracts different modules?**
>
> No. It is one area with PSA-dependent wording. Use the name in your sidebar.

> **Can I renew or sign my agreement here?**
>
> No. You can review details and open uploaded files. Ask your MSP how renewal or signing works.

> **Who uploads the agreement PDF?**
>
> MSP staff with agreement write access. Company users can open the documents they are allowed to read.
