# Understand a meeting summary

> Review your MSP’s meeting recap, follow up on commitments, and request corrections or access.

**Audience:** Company users receiving a meeting summary from their MSP.

Your MSP can send a recap of a company meeting by email. It may describe discussion, decisions and follow-up actions. The sender can write the content or edit an AI-generated draft.

## Review the recap

1. Open the summary email and check the meeting title, date and company.
2. Review decisions, amounts, owners and due dates against what was agreed.
3. Ask your MSP to correct anything inaccurate or missing through your usual support channel. Keep the email for reference.
4. If you have portal access, open the meeting through **Calendar > List View** or **My Meetings** and choose **… > Open Meeting Page** to review its accessible notes and actions.

The email and meeting workspace are separate. Receiving a summary does not grant portal access, make you a meeting participant, or prove that every commitment has been added to the action list. Your MSP manages those details.

## Follow up on an action

Use the named owner and due date to clarify the next step with your MSP. A written recap does not itself approve a quote, pay an invoice, create a support ticket, or mark work complete.

If you need a new support request, follow [How to open a ticket](/user-guides/ticketing/open-a-ticket), starting with the Home AI assistant. If your MSP has added the recap as a ticket note, use the accessible ticket to continue that discussion.

## If the summary is missing

Ask your MSP to confirm the destination address and whether the email was sent. A summary is a separate action; ending a presentation or marking the meeting Completed does not by itself mean one was sent. Company administrators do not manage MSP sending configuration or other users' portal permissions.
