# AI Settings

> Configure AI assistant context and support settings

The AI Settings step helps you configure the AI assistant to better understand your business. This context improves the quality of AI-generated suggestions, summaries, and responses throughout MSPortal.

## What You'll Configure

* **AI Context Notes** - Background information about your MSP
* **Support Email** - Contact email for AI-generated support responses
* **Business Context** - Industry, services, and specializations

## Steps to Complete

  <Step title="Navigate to AI Settings">
    Click **Go to Settings** in the onboarding wizard, or go to **Settings > Tenant** and click the **AI** tab.

  <Step title="Add Context Notes">
    Describe your MSP's business, the services you offer, your target clients, and any specific terminology you use. The more context you provide, the better the AI can assist.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set Support Email">
    Enter the email address that should appear in AI-generated support responses.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save Changes">
    Click **Save Changes** to apply your AI configuration.
  </Step>

## Writing Effective Context Notes

<Tip>
  Include information about:

  * Your company's services and specializations
  * Industries you serve (healthcare, legal, finance, etc.)
  * Common tools and technologies you support
  * Your support processes and SLAs
  * Any specific terminology or acronyms your team uses

## Example Context Notes

We are TechMSP, a managed service provider specializing in healthcare IT.
We support medical practices with HIPAA-compliant solutions, including
M365 management, endpoint security, and backup services. Our clients
use Epic and Athenahealth EMR systems. We provide 24/7 support with a
4-hour response SLA for critical issues.
```

## Auto-Completion

This step is **automatically marked as complete** when you have:

* Added AI context notes, OR
* Set a support email address
