# Security awareness training

> See learner training status and phishing results from Breach Secure Now, Phin, Huntress, CyberHoot, and Phished.io in one place.

Security awareness training results from your connected providers show up in the portal in two places. This page helps company users and MSP staff pick the right one and fix missing data.

## Before you start

* You need Security Awareness read access.
* Your MSP connects each provider and maps its customers to companies.
* What you see depends on which providers are connected and which companies you can access.

| Provider | What it adds |
| - | - |
| Huntress Managed SAT | Assignments, episodes, learner completion, phishing campaigns |
| Phin | Learner training status, phishing sent, clicked, and click rate |
| Breach Secure Now | Enrollment, completion, ESS, security score, micro training |
| CyberHoot | HootScore, HootRank, assignment completion, phishing results |
| Avanan | Security awareness training coverage only, with no per-learner data |
| Phished.io | Learner training status, plus an **Insights** view with training-session totals and simulation events from the last 30 days |

## Choose where to look

| What you want to do | Where to go |
| - | - |
| See all learners across providers in one table | **Training > Training Menu > Security Training**, then [read learner status](/user-guides/training/read-awareness-status) |
| See one provider at a time | **Security > Security Awareness**, then click the provider's tab |
| Look at a Breach Secure Now learner in detail | [Read BSN risk details](/user-guides/training/read-bsn-risk) |
| Compare CyberHoot company compliance and Hoot Score | [Read CyberHoot company summaries](/user-guides/security/read-cyberhoot-companies) |
| Find a HootPhish challenge | [Review HootPhish challenges](/user-guides/security/read-hootphish-challenges) |
| Read a challenge's participant results | [Review participant results](/user-guides/security/read-hootphish-participants) |
| See Huntress assignments across companies | [Find Huntress training assignments](/user-guides/training/read-huntress-assignments) |
| Take your own Huntress episodes | [Open your Huntress training](/user-guides/training/open-huntress-training) |
| Take your own portal courses | [Training](/user-guides/training/index) |

## Open Security Awareness

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Security > Security Awareness">
    The page needs Security Awareness read access and at least one connected provider.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a provider tab">
    When more than one provider is connected, tabs appear at the top: **CyberHoot**, **BSN**, **Phin**, **Huntress**, **Phished.io**, and **Avanan**. The **CyberHoot** tab shows company and challenge sections. The **BSN**, **Phin**, and **Huntress** tabs show a learner table for that provider. The **Phished.io** tab has **Learners** and **Insights** views. See [Connect Phished.io](/user-guides/integrations/enable-phished-integration).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the company selector">
    The data follows your company selection.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Phished.io

The [Phished.io integration](/user-guides/integrations/enable-phished-integration) adds **Learners** and **Insights** views under its provider selection. Learners uses the shared training status table; Insights shows current training-session totals and simulation events from the last 30 days. Phished also becomes an available provider in the combined Security Training learner table.

Training is a current snapshot. Simulation event counts preserve the source event types and do not provide a calculated click rate. Confirm company mapping, permissions and the last successful sync before interpreting the results.

## Ask for help (company users)

These pages only show results. They do not assign training, start phishing tests, send reminders, unlock accounts, or change permissions.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Note the details">
    Write down the provider, the course or challenge name, and what looks wrong.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Ask through the Home AI Assistant">
    Follow [How to open a ticket](/user-guides/ticketing/open-a-ticket), then review and confirm the request. Your MSP handles account and assignment changes.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Fix missing or wrong data (MSP staff)

<Steps>
  <Step title="Check the company and your permission">
    Confirm the company selector and your Security Awareness read permission.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the integration">
    Open **Settings > Integrations** and make sure the provider is active and its customer or organization is mapped to the right company.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the sync">
    Look at the integration's sync information, and compare with the provider itself when figures look old or incomplete.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Make changes in the provider">
    Assignments, campaigns, and accounts are changed in the provider, not in these pages.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Use awareness data in reports

* The **Security Awareness Overview** and **Security Awareness: Users Needing Attention** blocks are available in the report builder.
* **Security Awareness & Training** is a content source for narrative reports. It is off by default, so turn it on in the report or template.

## Troubleshooting

| Problem | What to do |
| - | - |
| A provider's learners are missing | Learners only appear for provider organizations mapped to a company. Map the rest in the provider's integration settings, then wait for the next sync. |
| No Huntress assignments | Huntress SAT may be off, its accounts may need company mappings, or the first sync may still be pending. Check **Settings > Integrations**. |
| An assignment shows no episodes | Episodes arrive with the assignment sync. Check the company mapping, then ask your MSP to check the Huntress integration's sync. |
| My Huntress episodes are not in my library | Your portal email must match your Huntress learner, and the assignment must have synced episodes. Draft and canceled assignments do not show. |
| A company's awareness data is missing from a report | Confirm the company has mapped learners, and turn on **Security Awareness & Training** on the report. |
| The page is empty | Check the company selector, filters, and mapping. An empty table does not mean everyone finished. |
