Overview

The Notifications module provides a centralized place to view all system notifications and manage pending approvals. Stay informed about important events and take action on items requiring your attention.

Getting Started

Accessing Notifications

Navigate to Notifications from the main sidebar, or click the notification bell icon in the top navigation bar to see recent notifications.

Understanding the Interface

The Notifications page has two main tabs:

Notifications Tab

Displays all system notifications including:
  • Info: General information messages
  • Success: Confirmation of completed actions
  • Warning: Alerts requiring attention
  • Error: Issues that need resolution

Pending Approvals Tab

Shows automation actions awaiting your review:
  • Email sends triggered by automation rules
  • Meeting invitations requiring approval
  • Other automated actions configured to require approval
The badge counts on each tab show unread notifications and pending approvals requiring your attention.

Common Tasks

Viewing Notifications

Open Notifications

Navigate to the Notifications page from the sidebar

Filter by Type

Use the type filter dropdown to show only specific notification types (Info, Warning, Error, Success)

Filter by Read Status

Toggle between All and Unread to focus on new notifications

View Details

Click on a notification row to navigate to the related entity

Marking Notifications as Read

Individual notification:
  • Click the checkmark button on a notification row to mark it as read
All notifications:
  • Click the Mark all as read button in the header to clear all unread notifications

Reviewing Pending Approvals

Navigate to Approvals Tab

Click the Pending Approvals tab

Review the Request

Click on an approval row to open the review dialog with full details

Take Action

Choose to Approve or Reject the pending action

Quick Approval Actions

For faster processing, you can approve or reject directly from the data table:
  1. Find the pending approval in the list
  2. Click the checkmark button to approve
  3. Click the X button to reject
Use quick actions when you’re confident about the decision. Use the detail view when you need to review the full context before deciding.

Understanding Notification Types

Understanding Approval Status

Notification Sources

Notifications can originate from various sources:
  • System: Core platform events and updates
  • Automation Rules: Triggered by configured automation rules
  • Integrations: Events from connected services

Best Practices

  • Regular Check: Review notifications regularly to stay on top of important events
  • Clear Read Items: Mark notifications as read once reviewed to keep the unread count meaningful
  • Timely Approvals: Process pending approvals promptly to avoid delays in automated workflows
  • Filter Effectively: Use filters to focus on high-priority notification types
Pending approvals may have time limits. Review and act on them before they expire to ensure automated workflows complete as expected.
