The RMM Integration step connects MSPortal to your Remote Monitoring and Management system. This enables automatic synchronization of devices, sites, and monitoring data.
This step only appears if you selected that you need an RMM integration in the Integration Selection step.

What Gets Synced

Depending on your RMM, MSPortal can sync:
  • Devices - Computers, servers, and network devices
  • Sites/Locations - Client sites and their device groups
  • Device Details - Hardware, software, and status information
  • Alerts - Monitoring alerts and their status

Steps to Complete

Navigate to Integration Setup

Click Go to Settings in the onboarding wizard. You’ll be taken to the setup page for your selected RMM.

Enter API Credentials

Provide the API credentials required by your RMM. Each RMM has different requirements.

Test Connection

Click Test Connection to verify your credentials work correctly.

Configure Sync Settings

Choose what data to sync and how often.

Start Initial Sync

Click Connect or Save to activate the integration. An initial sync will begin automatically.

Auto-Completion

This step is automatically marked as complete when:
  • An active RMM integration exists for your tenant

Initial Sync Time

The initial sync may take several minutes depending on the number of devices in your RMM. The next step (Device Import) will wait for the sync to complete before becoming available.
