The Training Setup step configures MSPortal’s training module, which lets you deliver security awareness training, onboarding courses, and other educational content to your clients’ users.

What You’ll Configure

  • Training Courses - Select or create courses for your clients
  • Enrollment Settings - How users are enrolled in training
  • Completion Requirements - Passing scores and deadlines
  • Notifications - Reminders and completion alerts

Steps to Complete

Navigate to Training Settings

Click Go to Settings in the onboarding wizard, or go to Settings > Training.

Review Available Courses

Browse the built-in training courses. These cover common topics like security awareness, phishing prevention, and password hygiene.

Configure Course Settings

For each course you want to use, configure:
  • Passing score requirements
  • Time limits (if any)
  • Certificate options

Set Up Enrollment Rules

Decide how users get enrolled in training:
  • Automatic enrollment for new users
  • Manual enrollment by administrators
  • Scheduled enrollment campaigns

Configure Notifications

Set up reminder emails for incomplete training and notifications for completed courses.

Common Training Use Cases

Manual Completion

This step requires manual completion. Click Mark Complete in the wizard when you’ve finished setting up training.
You can enable training for specific companies later. During onboarding, focus on understanding the available courses and basic settings.
