Audience: MSP staff with meeting write access. Transcript management is part of the internal post-meeting wrap-up. Open the meeting’s Wrap-Up and choose Transcript & AI. You can reach it after submitting or skipping Survey, or by selecting the step directly.

Paste transcript text

1

Paste the conversation

With no transcript saved, enter the text in Or paste the transcript. Typing alone does not save it.
2

Use pasted text

Choose Use pasted text, which appears when there is text to save. Wait for Transcript saved and its character count.
3

Review the saved state

The saved-transcript row replaces the paste field. This confirms storage of the transcript, not AI processing or a change to public meeting notes.

Upload a transcript file

Use Upload transcript file or drag a file into that area. Supported formats are .txt, .vtt, .srt, and .md, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Choosing a file begins processing and saving; there is no later universal Save button for the upload. The saved conversation text is extracted from the file. VTT/SRT timestamp lines and caption markup can be removed, so the character count can differ from the original file. The stored text also has a limit of 500,000 characters; a file within the size limit can still contain too much text. Empty content cannot be saved. Keep the original file. This screen does not provide a transcript Download control or a full saved-text reader. A saved character count is not proof that an original-file archive is available for later download.

Leave and resume

Once Transcript saved appears, the stored transcript remains when you leave and reopen wrap-up. Save & exit leaves the page; it does not submit text still sitting in the paste field. Choosing Continue or Send Summary can enter the summary step and request an initial AI draft when AI is available. Use Save & exit if you only intended to store the transcript for later work.
If you saved a transcript but the blank paste form appears again, reload the page before pasting or uploading a replacement. A fresh page can show the stored transcript even when the earlier view did not update. If it is still missing, ask your MSP administrator to check the save result.

Replace or remove a transcript

Replace transcript opens the file picker. Select a replacement file and wait for the saved state. To replace saved content with pasted text, use the trash control to remove the existing transcript, confirm removal, then paste and save the new text.
Replacement or removal clears the stored AI output generated from that transcript and its applied marker. It does not undo public notes or action items that were already added to the meeting. Keep any material you need before making the change.
Removing the transcript asks Remove the transcript and any AI output generated from it? Cancelling that confirmation keeps the saved content. The saved-transcript row does not offer an inline text edit; make corrections in your source text before replacing it.

Distinguish storage, generation and application

AI availability and Calendar transcript-AI settings determine whether generation is offered. You can still store a transcript when AI is unavailable. Stored transcript text can feed the later summary draft independently of whether you generated or applied transcript notes. Review generated notes, action descriptions, owners, dates and priorities before applying them. Add these notes to the meeting notes controls whether notes are appended; selected actions are separate. Applying is a write, not a preview. Check the meeting after an error before retrying, because notes and action items can have separate outcomes.
