This guide is for MSP staff and company users who can open the Huntress Assignments tab. The curriculum panel is read-only.

Before you start

Open a curriculum

Open the assignment list

Open Training > Training Menu > Security Training > Assignments.

Click View curriculum

Use the button in the row’s Actions column. Clicking the assignment name does not open it.

Check the top of the panel

Read the company, assignment name, description, and status.

Read the schedule and requirements

Review Starts, Ends, Passing score, Attempts, and Learner progress.

Scroll through Episodes

Each episode shows its title, description, learning objectives, and an Unlocks on date when it has one.

Close the panel

Close it when you are done.
The panel uses the assignment already loaded in the list, so opening it does not start a sync. Unlimited means no attempt limit. Not provided means Huntress did not send a value. The passing score and attempts apply to the assignment, so do not assume each episode has its own. Learner progress is a completed-of-assigned count. The panel has no list of learner names. Episode numbers follow the order imported from Huntress.

Preview an episode

Click Preview episode

Use the button on the episode. It opens the Huntress link in a new browser tab. Huntress may ask you to sign in.
A preview may not record learner completion. For tracked learning, use the Huntress training link assigned to your account. Opening a preview does not complete the assignment.
Under maintenance turns the preview button off. Preview unavailable means the link is missing or unusable, or the episode is a draft. Unlocks on is for information in this panel. The preview can still open before that date. Your own library tiles do check the unlock date. To find your own episodes, see Open your Huntress training.

You cannot edit dates, attempt limits, passing scores, or learners here.

Frequently asked questions

It may not. Use your assigned Huntress link, then check the result in Huntress and the later synced status.
The episode is under maintenance, a draft, or has no usable link. Ask your MSP to check it in Huntress.
