Audience: Company users and MSP staff with Compliance read access. Available companies, checks, and actions depend on your permissions and what your MSP has shared.

Choose the scope

  1. Open Compliance in the sidebar.
  2. Check the selected company or aggregate view. A permitted parent-company view can include child companies.
  3. Choose Active, Completed, or All in the run filter.
  4. Check search and table filters before interpreting an empty result.
This image shows the generic controls in an MSP Demo session. Your available records and actions depend on your access. The run filter refers to whether an assessment run is complete. It does not mean every check passed. A completed run can include failed assessments.

Browse Tree view

  1. Select Tree.
  2. Use Search compliance checks… to narrow the results.
  3. Expand a company or run, then any available group, location, or device to reach a check. The hierarchy depends on the assignment and selected company scope.
  4. Use Expand all or Collapse all when available to change the visible hierarchy.
  5. Select a check’s title to open its details.
The same check definition can appear in different runs or for different devices and locations. Read the company, run, and target before comparing results.

Browse List view

  1. Select List for a flat table of check assignments.
  2. Use the table’s column filters, such as title, company, status, priority, and due date. Additional columns can contain notes, guidance, or source information.
  3. Use available sorting and column-visibility controls to organize the table.
  4. Use pagination to review further results. Page-size choices are 25, 50, 100, and 250.
  5. Select the check title to open the assessment.
A linked Planner shortcut may be available when the check has linked work and you have Planner read access. Following the shortcut does not update the assessment.

Interpret the result

Statuses come from the check’s configured status list. Your MSP can use different names and determine which statuses count as complete or successful. Priority is separate and uses High, Medium, or Low. A flag marks an item for attention; it is not a pass or fail result. The summary can show: Completion is not the same as passing. A fully assessed set can still contain failures. The summary, weighted score, and filtered List can use different scopes or refresh at different times. Per-column List filters do not necessarily recalculate the score or summary. Use the underlying assessments to investigate a mismatch; do not infer a result from the color or grade alone. N/A or a load error is not a passing score.

If a check is missing

  • Verify company scope and switch from Active to All when looking for an older run.
  • Clear or adjust search and table filters.
  • Ask your MSP whether the assessment was assigned or shared with your company.
  • If the page reports a load error, retry or reload before deciding that there are no records.
  • A direct check link can include a completed run, but it still requires access to the record.
