Use this page to read the IT records your MSP shares with you: assets, configurations, procedures, and inspection results. It is for company users and MSP staff.

Before you start

  • You need Documentation read access.
  • Assets and Procedures need Hudu or IT Glue. Configurations needs IT Glue. Inspectors needs Liongard. Your MSP controls connections, sharing, and company scope.
  • These are records from your documentation tools. For device monitoring and device actions, use Devices.

Browse assets

Open Assets

Open Documentation > Assets and check the company selector.

Choose a layout

In the Asset Types list on the left, click a layout such as servers or laptops. Click All Layouts to clear it. Use Search asset types… to find a layout.

Find the asset

Use the column filters, such as Name and Company. Click the asset’s name to open it.

Read the details

An asset can show its company, layout, update time, manufacturer, model, serial number, and the fields your provider defines. Empty fields are left out. A protected password field has its own Reveal control, which needs shared-password access.

View IT Glue configurations

Open Configurations

Open Documentation > Configurations. The tab appears only when your MSP uses IT Glue.

Filter the table

Use the column filters. Columns include Name, Company, Type, Status, Hostname, Primary IP, Serial Number, Manufacturer, Model, Operating System, MAC Address, Asset Tag, Location, Contact, Warranty Expires, and Updated.

Open the record

Click a linked name to open the record in IT Glue in a new tab. You need your own IT Glue access. A name without a link has no IT Glue URL.
Configurations are read-only here. You cannot edit them from this page.

Read a procedure

Open Procedures

Open Documentation > Procedures and find the procedure.

Open it

Click its name.

Read the tasks

Read the description, the Tasks list, and the summary, such as 3 of 5 tasks completed. A green check marks a done task, and an empty circle marks one that is not done.
The task marks show the status recorded in your provider. You cannot tick tasks here. Ask your MSP to update or complete the procedure in the source system.

Review Liongard inspectors

Open Inspectors

Open Documentation > Inspectors. The tab appears when Liongard is connected and data is shared with you.

Pick an inspector type

In Inspector Types on the left, click a type. The main area lists its systems with System Name, Company, Last Inspected, and Status.

Open a system

Click a system. Check Last inspected before you read the results.

Filter the metrics

Click Passing, Failing, or Warning to filter the metrics. Click the active one again to remove the filter. Type in Search metrics… to search by name or value. Expand or Collapse shows or hides the detail.

Read the results

Read Security, Inspected Metrics, and Recent Changes. Click Back to list to return.
Inspector types mapped to devices appear on the device pages instead. This tab covers service and environment inspectors.
