Read an agenda item
- Open the meeting workspace and scroll to Meeting Agenda.
- Review the item count and visible in presentation count above the list.
- Select an item’s title row to expand its available details. Select it again to collapse it. Use the row title rather than the drag handle, eye or trash controls.
- Review its title, type, available status or metrics, text and notes. Some item types show only a compact summary; an expanded row is not always the full source record.
- If Group View is available, open the relevant group and item. Use List View to return to individual rows when offered.
Understand the linked content
The workspace can display financial, delivery, support and review material prepared by the MSP: budgets, Planner items, reports, tickets, compliance checks, goals, projects, devices, invoices, licenses and quotes, plus text blocks and dividers. Other module-to-meeting workflows can supply additional item types; the general Add Item chooser is not a complete list of every type the agenda can display. An agenda item is a link or piece of meeting content, not a copy of every function in its source module. For example, a device agenda item can show only its type, and a budget row can show a fiscal-year summary rather than the complete budget. Use the relevant module and your existing permissions for the full record or a change to that record. Data reflects the available linked record and its source synchronization. It is not guaranteed to update live while the meeting stays open. Missing detail, a generic title or an error does not mean the underlying record is healthy, approved, paid or complete. Ask the MSP to verify the source and access when something is missing.Quote providers
Quote agenda entries currently refer to Quoter quotes. The separate Quotes module supports Salesbuildr, QuoteWerks and Quoter. Do not infer that every provider available in Quotes can be added through the agenda’s Quote picker, or that an absent agenda quote means the provider is unsupported by MSPortal.Understand presentation visibility
The total item count includes agenda items that are not selected for presentation. Visible in presentation counts those selected to appear there. A dimmed item can remain in the workspace even when it is hidden from the presentation. The eye control changes presentation visibility. It is not a privacy control, a permission change or deletion of the underlying record. Do not hide an agenda item as a way to protect confidential information from people who can access the meeting. Expanding and collapsing rows or groups is a reading action. Dragging an item, toggling its eye, editing its content or using removal controls can save changes. There is no single workspace Save button that holds all these actions until later.Ask for agenda changes
Ask your MSP to add missing material or correct an agenda item when you do not have meeting-write permission. Company administrator status alone does not grant that permission. MSP staff can use Add Item to choose the offered content types. Selecting an item or custom-content action can add it immediately; do not treat the chooser as a harmless preview once an item is selected. Opening the chooser or searching available options is different from adding content.FAQs
