Use Cloud > Domains to read the expiry date and auto-renew setting of domains registered through DNSimple. This page is for MSP staff and company users. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace rows do not carry registrar dates.

Before you start

  • You need Cloud read access (the Cloud resource with Read access in the role editor).
  • Your MSP must have DNSimple connected in Settings > Integrations, and each domain must be mapped to a company. Unmapped DNSimple domains do not appear.
  • You cannot renew a domain, change auto-renew, or edit a domain from this page.

Check expiry and auto-renew

Open Cloud > Domains

Click Cloud in the sidebar, then click the Domains tab. Check the company selector in the top bar.

Show only DNSimple rows

If a Provider column is shown, open its filter and check DNSimple. If there is no Provider column, your scope has only one provider.

Show the registrar columns

Click Columns. Turn on Auto-renew, Registrar status, and Last synced. Click Save Changes. Expires is shown by default.

Find the domain

Type the name in the filter box under the Domain column. Scroll the table sideways if some columns are off screen.

Compare the dates

Read Expires, Auto-renew, and Last synced together. If Last synced is old, ask your MSP to confirm the registrar details before you rely on them.

Filter to DNSimple

Set the Provider filter to DNSimple.

Export the list

Click Export CSV above the table. The file includes every domain that matches your filters, across all pages.
Export CSV button on Cloud Domains.

Export CSV downloads every matching domain. It does not renew a domain.

Sort in a spreadsheet

The table cannot be sorted or filtered by date. Open the CSV and sort Expires there. The file includes Expires, Auto-renew, Registrar status, and Last synced even if those columns are hidden.

Hand the renewal to your MSP

  • Company users: open a ticket with the domain, the expiry date you see, and your concern.
  • MSP staff: check the expiry, renewal setting, and account status in DNSimple before you act. If a domain is missing here, check the DNSimple company mapping. See DNSimple integration.
Unverified on a DNSimple row and Secondary domain under Cloud presence are not renewal warnings. Unverified is the label for every DNSimple row. Secondary domain means the name was not found in a synced Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant.
