Open Cloud > Groups to review synchronized Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace groups available to your account. Company users see accessible groups that their MSP has kept visible to clients. MSP readers can also see groups hidden from clients. Audience: Company users with Microsoft 365 read access and MSP staff. The same read permission covers Google groups. Your MSP manages access and provider account changes.

Open a group

  1. Open Cloud, then select Groups.
  2. Check the company selector in the top bar. Select the company you are reviewing if your account can choose companies.
  3. Find the group using the Group or Email column filter. Check Company and Type to distinguish groups with similar names.
  4. Click the group row to open its member dialog.
  5. Check the group name, company and provider badge before reading the list. Close the dialog with its close control or Escape when finished.
A group appearing here does not make you a member or grant access to its resources. To request a membership change, open a ticket through the Home AI Assistant with the company, group, person and requested change.

Understand the group list

Use Columns, select the extra fields, then Save Changes. Cancel or closing the panel discards unsaved choices; Reset also needs Save Changes to apply. Scope-dependent columns cannot be forced into view. MSP staff with write access also see Client visible controls.

Read the member dialog

The dialog lists Name, Email, Type, Role, and Status for the synchronized member records. A missing name can fall back to email; missing values use a dash or Not available. Microsoft member rows show Not available for Role and Status in this view. This does not mean the member has no role or that the account is disabled. Google rows can supply member role and status, but these are synchronized group-member attributes rather than a complete account-security review. Use Previous and Next to read more members; the dialog loads 100 per page. Opening another group starts its member list at page 1. The count beside the group name comes from the group record; the pager counts synchronized member rows. They can differ when source counts and member synchronization do not agree. A nested group can appear as a member record. There is no nested-group expansion or recursive effective-membership view in this dialog. There is also no member search, CSV export, or add/remove-member control here.

Missing or stale membership

No members were synchronized for this group means this view has no member rows to show. The group may be empty or its members may not have synchronized. A missing group can also reflect filters, company access, mapping, or client visibility. Ask your MSP to check the provider and synchronization before treating either case as a completed access review or offboarding result. Company users should request corrections from their MSP. There is no Sync now action on Cloud Groups. Provider connection and synchronization management are separate MSP workflows.
