Use Devices to find equipment visible to your account, check its inventory details, and review warranty dates.
For Company users and MSP staff with access to Devices. Your permissions and company scope determine the records you can see. The MSP manages Company access; seeing inventory does not automatically grant editing or deletion rights.

Find a device

1

Open the inventory

Select Devices in the sidebar. If several tabs are available, choose Devices.
2

Check the company scope

Confirm the selected company or companies. Company users see their permitted scope; MSP staff may be working across several companies.
3

Narrow the list

Use the table’s column filters for a device name, type, manufacturer, model, serial number, location, or another available field. Wait for the matching results to load. Use one identifying text field at a time when locating a specific device.
4

Open the details

Select the device’s Name. The side panel opens on Overview. Check its company, identifying details, and reported dates before using it in a support request.
The table can span several pages. Use its pagination controls to continue through the results. A missing column does not mean the field is unavailable: review the table’s column selector. Some columns are hidden when the current data does not contain values for them.

Review warranty dates

The summary above the table offers shortcuts: Select the active warranty or type shortcut again to clear it. Total Devices does not clear unrelated column filters or change your company scope. Clear those filters separately if results are still narrower than expected. A missing warranty date means it is not recorded. It does not establish that coverage is active or expired. Ask your IT provider to confirm warranty information before relying on it.

Export the inventory

  1. Set the company scope and filters to the list you need.
  2. Select Export CSV in the table controls.
  3. Wait for the export and check your browser’s downloads.
  4. Open the file and verify its records before using or sharing it.
The export requests the matching inventory across pages. It is not limited to checked rows or the currently visible page. The device export uses a defined set of columns, so hiding a column in the table does not necessarily remove it from the CSV. If the file is empty or does not match the expected inventory, check the filters and retry after the list has loaded. An empty file alone is not proof that no devices exist.

Frequently asked questions

Open Devices, select the device name, and review Overview. You can also use the inventory’s Serial Number column when it is available. Include the device name and the issue in your support request.
The module may not be enabled or your role may not grant access. Ask your MSP or IT provider. Company administrators do not change their own permission group.
Check the company scope, active column filters, and warranty/type shortcut. If the list is still empty, the provider may need to import devices or review integration mappings and your access. An empty filtered list is not proof that your organization has no equipment.
No. It clears the summary’s warranty/type selection. Other column filters and company scope can remain active.
An expired or expiring result requires a recorded end date. Missing dates do not establish coverage; ask your provider to confirm them.
No. It requests the inventory matching the current filters across pages. Check the downloaded file before sharing it.
The device export uses its own set of fields. Table column visibility changes the screen and does not necessarily change the exported columns.
Editing is separately controlled. The detail panel’s Edit tab requires device-management access. Ask your provider when a correction is needed and the control is unavailable.
