Open Cloud > Domains to review synchronized Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and company-mapped DNSimple registrar records. The list reflects your access, connected services and synchronization; it is not an inventory of every domain the company may own. Audience: Company users with Microsoft 365 read access and MSP staff. This read permission covers all three providers on this page. Company users ask their MSP to change permissions, domain configuration or provider connections.

Open the inventory

  1. Open Cloud, then select Domains.
  2. Check the company selector in the top bar. Select one company if your account can choose companies.
  3. Use Domain to find a name and Provider to distinguish cloud-service records from registrar records.
  4. Read the recorded fields and synchronization date. The rows do not open a domain editor or detail dialog.

Provider choices depend on the synchronized records in the current company scope.

The same domain can appear more than once across providers or company mappings. A Microsoft record describes the cloud tenant; a DNSimple record describes the registrar inventory. Compare Provider and Company before treating rows as duplicates.

Read the fields

To show hidden fields, click Columns, choose the fields, then Save Changes. Cancel or closing the panel discards drafts. Reset also requires Save Changes to apply.
DNSimple records do not supply a cloud-verification flag in this inventory, so they currently display Unverified. This label alone is not evidence of failed DNS ownership verification, broken email, or an unsafe domain. Check the corresponding Microsoft or Google record and ask your MSP to confirm the provider state.

Distinguish the two meanings of Secondary

Primary = Secondary means the row is not marked as a cloud primary/default domain. Such a domain can still be present in Microsoft or Google. Cloud presence = Secondary domain, and the Secondary badge beside the name, identify a DNSimple record with no matching domain name in the MSP tenant’s synchronized Microsoft or Google domain inventory. The comparison spans company mappings in that MSP tenant. In cloud tenant does not prove that the matching cloud record belongs to the same company, that email works, or that the domain is actively used. Missing synchronization or mapping can affect this classification. Ask your MSP before treating a Secondary domain as unused or safe to remove.

Understand the summary

The summary shows Total domains, Verified, Primary domains, Secondary domains, and Companies. These count synchronized records, not unique domain names or a deduplicated ownership inventory. When the top bar selects one company, Primary domain shows one recorded primary name instead of a count. If several provider records are primary, the summary still shows only one name; inspect the rows and provider before deciding which primary domain matters. Summary figures follow company and provider scope across list pages. They do not follow Domain text, Verification, Primary, Cloud presence or Authentication column filters. The table can therefore be empty while the summary still shows domains.

Request a correction

Company users should open a ticket from the Home AI Assistant with the domain, provider, company and discrepancy. MSP staff verify mappings, synchronization and provider settings. Cloud Domains has no add/delete domain, verify DNS, change primary domain, renew, or Sync now action.
