Open a company’s Onboarding workspace, choose the relevant portal, then open the credential or secure-file task in Tasks. Its details show the submission controls when a submission is available.
For MSP staff with onboarding write access and an active subscription. Company contacts use credential handoff or file uploads to submit information; they do not use these retrieval controls.

Reveal a credential handoff

1

Check the submission

Open the credential task and check its Pending Reveal status, submitter, date, and displayed expiry information. A Bulk submission may also identify an attached file.
2

Prepare to retain the information

Have the destination for the required credentials ready. Revealing consumes the portal’s retrieval opportunity; it is not a read-only preview.
3

Review the confirmation

Select Reveal Credentials. Read the confirmation, then select Reveal & Delete when ready. Cancel closes the confirmation without revealing.
4

Save what you need

For Single submissions, use the field copy controls and password/API-key show controls. For Bulk submissions, use Copy All for text and Download for an attached file. Complete this while the revealed information is displayed.
The view automatically hides revealed information after its display window. Reopening or refreshing the task does not retrieve the submission again. Use the time shown by the application and save what you need promptly.

Download a secure file

  1. Open the Secure File Drop task and find the required filename.
  2. Select Download Once.
  3. Review the filename and task in Download Secure File.
  4. Select Download & Destroy to retrieve it, or Cancel to leave it pending.
  5. Check your browser’s downloads and confirm the file was saved to the intended location.
The retrieval action marks the file Downloaded before the browser finishes saving the returned file. That status does not prove that a local copy was successfully saved. If the browser blocks the download or the transfer is interrupted, check its downloads before requesting a replacement from the client.

Understand the statuses

If a credential submission is wrong, already revealed, or expired, create a new credential handoff task for the client. The original Company task does not provide an edit or resubmit control. For a missing or expired secure file, arrange an appropriate new upload request.

Upload a file for an MSP-owned task

An MSP-owned Secure File Drop task can expose Upload Secure File in its details. Choosing a file starts the upload immediately in this MSP control; it does not use the Company’s extra upload-confirmation step. Keep the file within the displayed 10MB limit and wait for the filename to appear. This control is for provider-owned work. It does not change who owns the client’s upload request.
