Open Invoices > Pax8. This tab is for MSP staff with invoice-read access and a connected Pax8 integration. Company users use the PSA invoice list; granting Company invoice access does not expose the Pax8 tab.

Understand the rows

Each row represents a company’s share of a Pax8 partner invoice, based on the company’s mapped invoice items. The same partner invoice can therefore appear for several companies.
  • Subtotal and Total show that row’s company charges.
  • Invoice Total, available through column visibility, shows the whole partner invoice for context. It can repeat across company rows; do not add those repeated values as though they were separate invoices.
  • Items is the number of invoice items represented by the row.
  • Reference, Status, Invoice Date, and Due Date come from the synchronized invoice record.
Company mapping determines where charges appear. A company with no matching synchronized items can have an empty list even when other companies have charges on the same partner invoice.

Find and inspect charges

  1. Select the intended company scope.
  2. Use the Company, Status, and Invoice Date filters to narrow the list.
  3. Sort using supported headings or move between pages. The initial order is invoice date descending.
  4. Select the invoice date or the Items count to open that row’s line items.
  5. Review product/vendor, type, billing period, quantity, price, subtotal, tax, and total where available.
  6. Use the line-item table’s filters, column visibility, and pages to inspect the loaded items, then close the dialog.
The line-item dialog for an invoice row narrows to that row’s company. It does not necessarily show every company’s items from the partner invoice. Term and Sales Tax can be hidden initially; use the column control when needed.

Review draft charges

When draft items are available, a draft-charge card appears above the invoice list. It shows the available subtotals by currency and item count. Select View draft items to inspect the current draft snapshot. Draft charges are separate from finalized invoice rows and can change as the provider updates them. The draft card follows the main company selection. It does not use the invoice table’s date, status, or Company-column filter. Check that scope before comparing its amount with filtered invoice rows. If View draft items does not open a panel, report the page state to the MSP administrator. A button click without a visible panel is not evidence that the draft has no items.

Missing data and available actions

Check Pax8 setup and company mapping when expected charges are missing. Confirm that invoice synchronization is enabled and has completed. Clear filters and check the selected company before interpreting an empty list. This tab is a synchronized read view. It does not offer invoice editing, charge approval, payment, PSA invoice-PDF download, or the PSA list’s CSV export action. Use the appropriate provider workflow for those operations.

Frequently asked questions

No. It is restricted to MSP staff. Company invoice viewing takes place in the PSA invoice list.
Rows split the partner invoice into charges for mapped companies. Each company row can refer to the same partner invoice.
Total is the company row’s charges. Invoice Total is the whole partner invoice and can repeat on several rows.
Select the invoice date or Items count. The dialog shows the selected row’s company items with product, period, quantity, and available charge fields.
Only the main company scope is shared. The invoice table’s status, date, and Company-column filters do not filter the draft snapshot.
No. They are a separate synchronized draft snapshot and may change before final billing.
Check its mapping, synchronized invoice items, company scope, and filters. An empty list does not establish that the provider has no charges for the company.
Those PSA invoice-list actions are not offered here. Use the appropriate provider workflow for documents and payment.
